Where building automation meets robotics.

Brand-agnostic robotics, built by engineers who understand the systems already running your facilities. Fifteen years deep in BAS, BACnet and enterprise SaaS — now shipping robots that integrate, not just operate.

01 · Thesis

AI is structurally compressing margins on pure software services. Durable value is migrating to physical products and real-world outcome loops — places where AI augments rather than replaces.

Most robotics companies don't understand buildings. Most BAS integrators don't understand robotics. We're built on the seam where they meet — and that seam is widening.

02 · What we build

Three pillars,
weighted toward the physical.

Pillar 01 · Robotics
2024 → now

Robotics for buildings.

Brand-agnostic mobile robots — Unitree Go2, custom platforms — wired into the protocols already running your facility. Patrol, inspection, telepresence and automation that talk to the BMS, not around it.

  • WebRTC teleop & live video
  • ROS 2 mission orchestration
  • BACnet / Modbus event bridge
  • Custom accessory R&D
Pillar 02 · Integration

Smart-building integration.

IoT sensors, digital twins, predictive maintenance, ESG reporting and command centers — built on the same Niagara, BACnet and oBIX backbones that operators already trust.

Niagara N4 oBIX / BQL MQTT → Timescale Digital twin
Pillar 03 · SaaS

Enterprise SaaS engineering.

Multi-tenant platforms, data models, analytics and governance. Fifteen years of practice — the software spine behind every robotics deployment.

Fifteen-plus years building enterprise SaaS — multi-tenant platforms, BAS integrations, Niagara N4 modules, BACnet device fleets, MQTT pipelines into TimescaleDB. The kind of work that quietly runs buildings.

That work taught me where the real friction lives: not in the algorithms, but in the wire between them and the physical world. Rise Robotics is the next eighteen months of betting on that wire — shipping robots that speak the protocols facilities already trust.

Quadruped patrol, wired into the BMS.

A Unitree Go2 running ROS 2 patrols a Singapore commercial property after-hours — checking plant rooms, confirming setpoints, and writing anomalies straight into the BACnet event log the operations team already watches. WebRTC teleop available on demand.

05 · How we work

Pilot first.
Production second.
No retainer roulette.

Typical engagement runs 4–12 weeks. We're based in Singapore and ship globally. Pricing is scoped per pilot — no hourly billing.

  1. 01
    Discovery
    30-min call → scoping doc

We map the systems already in place, the integrations that matter, and the smallest version of "useful" we can prove inside 2 weeks.

    ≈ 1 week
  2. 02
    Pilot
    Scoped, on-site, observable

A live deployment against a single, measurable outcome — patrol coverage, integration latency, anomaly detection. You see the dashboard from day one.

    ≈ 4–8 weeks
  3. 03
    Deploy
    Production hand-off or run

We either harden the pilot for your team to operate, or run it ourselves under a managed-service arrangement. Your call.

    ongoing
Do you take fixed-fee work? +

Yes, scoped per pilot. Hourly is reserved for true unknowns and we flag those upfront.

Can you bring your own robot? +

Usually yes — Unitree Go2 is the default, but we're brand-agnostic and have integrated custom platforms.

Will it talk to our existing BMS? +

If it speaks BACnet, Modbus, oBIX or MQTT — almost certainly. Niagara N4 sites are home turf.

Where do you operate? +

Based in Singapore. Pilots in APAC are simplest; we travel for production deployments globally.
